President’s Note,

MAPI has had some challenges in the past year, however we seem to be climbing out of the hole and we are now able to see some daylight at the end of the tunnel. We have, for the first time in quite some time, a positive balance in our bank account and fiscally are doing much better.

Our fall conference was very well attended and we had quite a bit of positive feedback on the courses that were offered. We would like to thank our sponsors as well for their help with this years conference. This year Marie Ohman attended our luncheon and many of the members were able to chat with her, she has offered to attend our next conference as well. We are changing our conference schedule to just one conference in the fall per the vote at the annual business meeting. Because of this we offered our handgun class two other times other than at the conference, and are going to continue with this policy and will be also offering MAPI sponsored First Aid classes as well. On the conference note, if any of the members have ideas of where we should hold the fall conference this year please feel free to contact one of the board members and we will look into it.

We as an association need the help of our members in order to stay viable and to move forward. We have changed the look and feel of the website and we will continue to strive in this direction and to make it a more user friendly system for all of the membership.

Brad Anderson,
President
